Nicole has been passionate about dogs since she was five years old when Jackie, a
black standard poodle, became her first furry best friend. That Christmas, she received
a children’s dog training book and eagerly put it to use, teaching Jackie all sorts of tricks
from shake, to roll over, to even closing doors.

Her love for training deepened at sixteen when her family adopted a skittish white
standard poodle who had been relinquished back to his breeder. Bacchus was afraid of
quick movements, loud noises, and brooms. With patience and dedication, Nicole and
her family worked through his fears, helping him settle into his new home.
However, Nicole’s biggest learning experience came with Dexter. The first dog she
could truly call her own – Dexter was a lovable 90lb grey and white pit bull who
developed dog reactivity after being attacked while on a walk. Helping Dexter navigate
his fear response taught her invaluable lessons about canine behavior, body language,
and behavior management.

With over five years of experience as a professional companion obedience trainer, she has worked with dogs of all ages, from teaching basic obedience to addressing behavioral challenges such as leash reactivity and resource guarding. Nicole also has experience working with special needs dogs, including deaf and three-legged pups.

Her passion for animals and commitment to their well-being drives her to continuously
learn and evolve in this rewarding field. Nicole strives to help dogs and their families
build better bonds while having fun, positive learning experiences.
